Free Long-Term Care Workshop to be held on September 30

Senior Commission Offers Workshop on Long-Term Health Care Decisions
Richard Cavanagh, President of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program, will facilitate the program.

WHO:      The St. Charles Senior Citizens Advisory Commission will sponsor a workshop presented by Richard Cavanagh, president of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program.  The session is free to the general public, but reservations are required.

WHAT:      During the two-hour session, Mr. Cavanagh will discuss how to deal with physicians and hospitals, including how to navigate decisions associated with long-term care, rehabilitation centers and nursing homes.

WHERE:      Criminal Justice Center – 1781 Zumbehl Road, St. Charles -- workshop to take place in the Community Room.

WHEN:    Tuesday, September 30 – 9 to 11 a.m.
