St. Charles to Shut Down Water Main in Conjunction with Elm Street Reconstruction
Affected areas run from Elmhurst – at Elm – north to Elm Point.

WHO:    The City of St. Charles Water Division has announced that a Water Main shut down will be necessary at the beginning of next month in order to complete upgrades to the city’s distribution system.  This effort will occur in conjunction with the Elm Street reconstruction project.


WHAT:      Areas affected by the water main shut down run from Elmhurst (at Elm) north to Elm Point.  Affected residential areas include:

    . Summit Pointe
    . Ken Drive
    . North Trumble


WHERE      Saint Charles, MO – see specific locations as identified above.


WHEN        Tuesday, July 1 – 9 a.m. with restoration anticipated by 4 p.m.


ALSO:      At this writing, the city estimates that the number of residents impacted by the July 1 water main outage will equate to some 300 people.
