2009 Holiday Happenings in Saint Charles
Tuesday, November 24, 2009

Christmas sparkles each year in Historic Saint Charles during our one-of-a-kind Christmas Traditions festival.  While you're making holiday plans, escape to an old-fashioned Christmas with storybook characters, Victorian Carolers, and Santas from around the world.

Underneath a canopy of twinkling lights, stroll awhile and stop in the shops for a unique holiday shopping experience, or take a break in our restaurants and pubs for some delicious selections.

Want to experience a moment straight out of a Norman Rockwell painting?  Well here is your chance during Saint Charles' Holiday Skate in Frontier Park from November 27 until January 4, 2010.

If trains are more to your liking, the area boasts three displays during the holiday season.  You will also find holiday events, concerts, parties and more at the various venues and businesses around Saint Charles.

Holiday activities are in abundance in the quaint towns of Augusta and Defiance in the Historic Missouri Wine Country.  With the diversity of activities that are scheduled throughout the season, you will definitely be able to find something appealing for every member of the family!

For complete event details, please call the Greater Saint Charles Convention & Visitors Bureau, 230 South Main Street, at 636-946-7776 or visit the tourism office online at www.historicstcharles.com.

Happy Holidays!
