World-Famous Budweiser Clydesdales Make Bicentennial Visit to Main Street

WHO: Thanks to Anheuser-Busch Inbev, the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales will pay St. Charles a visit to commemorate the city’s Bicentennial. A team of eight horses will arrive at 5 p.m.; the team – along with their Dalmatian friend Bud – will get geared up at the Lewis & Clark Boat House and Nature Center, 1050 S. Riverside Drive, prior to their trek through town.
WHAT: The Clydesdale team will begin at Trailhead Brewing Company, 921 South Riverside, at approximately 6 p.m. before heading north on South Main. The crew will stop at each proprietor location currently serving AB products and offer a free case of beer compliments of the company. The team will stop frequently for photo opportunities in an effort to interact with shop owners and passersby alike. The event will continue throughout North Main and culminate at the Foundry Art Centre, 520 North Main Center, at approximately 7:30 p.m.
