2010 Scholarship Program Announced

The City Council of the City of Saint Charles, Missouri, has authorized five (5) $1,000.00 Scholarships for High School Seniors residing in the City of Saint Charles, Missouri.

The scholarships will be awarded to one student from each of the four High Schools (St. Charles High School, St. Charles West High School, Francis Howell North High School, and Orchard Farm High School), and one at-large scholarship for a student residing in the City of St. Charles and attending a private or parochial high school.

The scholarships will be awarded based on a written essay of 500 – 1,000 words addressing the question: “How Can I Help St. Charles Go Green?”

Eligibility Requirements:

  • High School Senior in the 2010 Graduating Class
  • Resident of the City of Saint Charles, Missouri
  • Submission of an Essay consisting of 500-1,000 words addressing the question: “How Can I Help St. Charles Go Green?”

Application Process: 

The deadline for submission of the essay and application is Friday, March 19, 2010.
