Parks and Recreation

The Parks & Recreation Department is responsible for:

Operating the 19 City parks for the enjoyment of the citizens
Maintaining facilities such as shelters, gardens, and more
Implementing sports fitness lessons, leagues, and programs for residents of all ages
Implementing non-sports recreation programs such as drawing, first-aid, dog obedience, and more for residents of all ages
Operating the City's aquatic facilities and programs
Hosting special events
Working with the Park Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to conservation, education, and the preservation of our parks
