The purpose of the Audit Committee is to:

• advise the City Council, Mayor, City Administrator, and Finance Director concerning the operations of the Finance Department
• participate in the selection of auditors
• review the City's investment program
• make recommendations regarding audit management

Meetings
The Audit Committee does not meet on a regular basis but only when needed. Audit Committee members determine the dates and times of their meetings, and all meetings are publicized in advance and open to the public.
