The purpose of the Board of Adjustment is to:
- hear and decide upon variances and conditional uses as required by City Ordinance
Meetings
The Board of Adjustment meets on the second Monday of each month or as called by the chairperson. Meetings are held at 6:00 p.m. on the fourth floor of City Hall. In order for a variance or conditional use to be granted, two-thirds of the Board members present and voting must vote to approve. A quorum is five of the eight members.
Application Deadline
The application deadline to bring an item before the Board of Adjustment is typically one month in advance. Please contact the Community Development office for specific dates and deadlines.
