The purpose of the Planning and Zoning Commission is to:
- hold public hearings on amendments to the zoning code
- hold public hearings on re-zonings
- reviews and makes recommendations on plats
- reviews site plans for development outside of the Historic District
Meetings
The Planning and Zoning Commission meets on the fourth Monday of the month. Meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. and are held on the fourth floor of City Hall.
Application Deadline
The application deadline to bring an item before the Planning and Zoning Commission is typically one month in advance. Please contact the Community Development office for specific dates and deadlines.
