The purpose of the Special Business District Advisory Board is to:

• recommends a budget for use of the funds collected through the Special District business license and property tax. These funds are used to promote the area.

The Special Business District is generally bounded by on the south by Barbour; on the north by Clark Street; on the east by the Missouri River; and on the west by Third Street from Clark to First Capitol, and by the alley between South Main Street and Second Street from First Capitol to Barbour.

Meetings
The Special Business District Advisory Board on the first Thursday of the month at 8:30 a.m. at City Hall.
