The purpose of the Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Commission is to:
- review proposals for redevelopment areas utilizing tax increment financing
- make recommendations to the City Council
Meetings
The Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Commission does not meet on a regular schedule but only when a viable TIF proposal is received by the City. The Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Commission generally meets several times to consider a single TIF proposal. Commission members determine the dates and times of their meetings, and all meetings are publicized in advance and open to the public.
