The City of St. Charles has three commuter parking lots along I-70 at the intersections of:

• Fairgrounds and Veteran's Memorial Drive south of I-70 across from the St. Charles Convention Center
• Zumbehl and Veteran's Memorial Drive south of I-70 across from the Red Roof Inn
• West Clay and Harry S. Truman Blvd. north of I-70 at Cave Springs

The St. Charles Area Transit System (SCAT) provides commuter bus service from these lots to the Metrolink station at North Hanley Road in St. Louis County. MetroLink is the light rail transit system that runs in the Greater St. Louis area and into Illinois.
