The City of St. Charles is always seeking qualified volunteers to serve on our many Boards, Commissions, and Committees when openings exist. If you are interested and you reside in the City of St. Charles, please print our application form.
The City of St. Charles also seeks qualified volunteers in several different departments.
Greater St. Charles Convention & Visitors Bureau
The Greater St. Charles Convention & Visitors Bureau located at 230 South Main Street in Historic downtown St. Charles seeks enthusiastic volunteers to help staff the front desk. Volunteers are needed seven days a week to primarily answer phones and greet visitors. They may also assist with mailings, packet assembly, name tags, invitations, and other special projects. St. Charles Animal Control
Animal Control, a division of the St. Charles Police Department, seeks volunteers at its facility on West Randolph Road to help with the following:
- Show animals available for adoption
- Answer phones
- Provide visitors with general information
- Clean animal cages
- Sweep and mop floors
- Bathe and groom approved animals
To be an Animal Control volunteer, you must be 18 years of age or older and enjoy working with animals and people. For more information, click here
St. Charles Sister Cities Program
The St. Charles Sister Cities Program seeks volunteers to lend their support, knowledge, and expertise. Members will serve on committees, assist with events and activities, provide overnight accommodations and hospitality for visiting delegations, serve as translators or tour guides, or volunteer for any of a variety of other programs or projects.
