The St. Charles County Historical Society is located in downtown St. Charles and is open to the public. The Society and its Archives occupy the Old Market House, and the organization maintains a small museum of local artifacts.

The non-member research fee is $3 per day. Historical books and videos are available for purchase. For more information, visit their web site at www.scchs.org.
