The existing Riverview Lift Station equipment was outdated and the station was subject to flooding. This project consists of lift station improvements including new pumps, SCADA and electronic controls, upgrading electrical service, a new flow meter, elevating the wet well and a new valve vault.

Project concept and approval began in 2012
Preliminary plan designs and reviews completed in 2013
Construction began summer 2014
Work began on February 29, 2016 by excavating the site to reset manholes and install silt fence along the channel and runoff areas
The week of March 24, 2016 the contractor removed the steel plates across Riverview Lane, and patched the road
The last week of March, crews installed the new force main
In early April, crews installed the pumps
During the last two weeks of April, crews addressed erosion control on the site
In May, crews worked to establish a stabilized slope and build a road up to the lift station
The lift station was sealed on June 6, 2016
Pavement base was completed on June 7, 2016
During the week of December 12th, crews will remove silt from the ditch behind the new lift station
