This project encompasses the roadway reconstruction of Droste Road from Duchesne Drive to 300 feet before the West Clay Street intersection. The improvements will include complete pavement reconstruction, sidewalk improvements, utility adjustments & driveway access improvements.

Current Project Activities
Field survey and submittal was completed in July 2016
Right-of-Way acquisition was completed in August 2016
Plan, Specification and estimate (PS&E) approval was completed in October 2016
Design for this project is 91% complete
Construction began the week of July 10, 2017
The week of July 10, crews cleared vegetation for the construction of a new alley for the homes on the east side of Droste Rd.
During the week of July 16, crews saw-cut the existing pavement surface on Droste and continued to remove vegetation behind the properties on the east-side of Droste
The week of July 23, crews began installing the new sanitary main up the center lane of Droste
The week of August 6, crews began installing stormwater collections systems for the new alley on the eastside of Droste
Crews completed installing the new sanitary main up the center lane of Droste on August 18, 2017
Next week, crews will make connections and pressure test the new main
Public Meeting #2
A second public meeting was held on Thursday, January 7, 2016 regarding the reconstruction of Droste Road between Charbo Street and South Duchesne Drive
At the meeting, large exhibit boards of the project, including right-of-way and easement impacts to properties, were on display for the public to see. Also, a handout was available that discusses the details of the project including: a start date for construction, construction timeline, and traffic impacts to local residents and business owners.
