Riverpointe Development

The Purpose

In 2008, the City began efforts to reinvigorate 1.6 miles of riverfront located between Interstate 70 and the Family Arena. The City’s role in this project is to provide the public infrastructure necessary to support a new sustainable development, comprising 25% of the City’s total riverfront. This project will support and contribute to the ongoing success of nearby Historic Main Street and the Streets of St. Charles and is expected to create up to 4,000 new jobs and have a $1.5 billion impact on the local economy.
