The Walters family and the entire Bogey Hills Country Club community are in my thoughts and prayers since the tragic fire that occurred last week. Each year, we are pleased to hold the annual Mayor’s Charity Golf Tournament at Bogey. This past year marked our 19th year.
We are confident and hopeful that the future will be bright for Bogey and that they will rebuild. Bogey has been such an asset and community partner to our area for many years. Their generosity and commitment to our City never goes unnoticed. I look forward to continuing to work with them this year on the 20th annual Mayors’ charity golf tournament.
Please join me in supporting Bogey during this difficult time. The information on the 2017 charity golf tournament will be released later this Spring. Continue to check the City’s website for more information.

This week I attended the annual Missouri Municipal League (MML) Legislative update in Jefferson City. This is a great opportunity for leaders from across the state to gather and stay up-to-date on what is going on in our State’s Capitol.
For me, it is very important for us to track the House and Senate bills that could help or hinder St. Charles City. City leaders and I always want to be informed and fully educated so that we can advocate for what is best for our City and our citizens. This conference provides us a great opportunity to do just that.
While in Jefferson City this week, we were able to meet with our Representatives and Senators to express our concerns or support on different issues. I want to say a special thank you to everyone who made time in their schedule to meet with us.
Rest assured, we will continue to track and monitor the House and Senate bills and keep you up-to-date on anything that will impact our great City.

The City of St. Charles is hitting the road! We are hosting our very own “Road Show” to talk about our current and long-term projects for our roads, trails, and paths. We have a lot planned over the next several years to keep up with the growth that we are experiencing in our City. The best thing we can do is PLAN.
Our City Engineering staff will be hosting three Open House sessions over the next two weeks to give citizens a chance to come and learn more about several projects, and provide feedback that we can take into consideration when finishing up our long-term transportation plan. This is your chance to let your voice be heard! Join us at one of the upcoming sessions.
More information can be found right here on our website. You can see a list of a few of the projects that we will be talking about, as well as the dates, and locations of each Open House Session. I look forward to seeing you there.
