There is an open house meeting starting at 6pm of Tuesday, August 22, 2017 in the community room of the St. Charles Police Station, located at 1781 Zumbehl Road. Prospective students, who are at least 14 years of age and have completed the 8th grade to 21 years of age, are invited to attend along with their parents or guardians for an informational meeting about the explorer program.  Please note:  if the student is under 18 their parent/guardian must be in attendance. Students are able to join the Explorer Program that night if they wish.

The Explorer Program is chartered by the Boy Scouts of America, who will have representatives attending as well. Once the program is established, the explorer post will meet every other Monday night from 6pm to 8:30pm and learn about topics related to law enforcement.
